About triedbyallen

Hi, I'm Allen. This site does one thing: I take the AI tools and tech gear Iactually use and write them up honestly — so people deciding whether to buy can skip the regret.

Why this site exists

Too many "reviews" are day-one unboxings that rephrase the spec sheet and only say nice things. You buy the thing and it's not what you pictured. I'm doing the opposite: use it for a while, lay out the pros and the cons, and tell you who it's for — and who should skip it.

How I review

• I use it first. If I haven't actually used something, I won't pretend I tested it.
• The downsides stay in. The annoying parts are exactly what you need to know.
• Real screenshots and photos of the product itself — not marketing renders.
• Clear disclosure. Affiliate links are always marked; your trust matters more than any commission. See the disclosure.

Got something you'd like reviewed, or a question before you buy? Reach out.
